Tara Firma

I spent the day with Tara Smith of Tara Firma Farms while on assignment for The New York Times. Located in the rolling hills of Petaluma, Tara Firma Farms is a member based farm that utilizes beyond organic and sustainable practices to produce premium food. Tara’s goal is to eliminate all stress in the raising of the animals. Pigs, cows, chickens and turkeys are pasture raised and feed on a traditional omnivore’s diet resulting in the healthiest and tastiest animals.
